Old Time Radio v2

I created a new version of my Old Time Radio skill for the Amazon Alexa.

I needed to host this skill with Amazon, so this required a complete rewrite. This new version was written in Javascript and NodeJS.

The new version incorporates in-skill purchasing. Without a paying subscription, the end user will hear a promotional advert between shows. Subscribing, removes the advert and also enables the user to choose a specific episode of a show.

It was good to learn how to develop an Alexa skill with NodeJS and Javascript. Having it hosted with Amazon also reduced development time, as I no longer needed to worry about running my servers. The rewrite also enabled me to improve the functionality for the end user.
